Two held

BIRATNAGAR: Police arrested two persons on the charge of their involvement in threatening businessmen and collecting money from them. According to the police, Birendra Yadav, a resident of Badgaha of Saptari, and Asha Mandal of Narasingh-3 of Sunsari, were held from Biratnagar on Thursday. The duo held in the initiative of Morang District Police Office was made public here on Saturday. Primary investigation revealed that the duo had been collecting lakhs of rupees as donation from businessmen in the name of underground armed organisations. — HNS

KASKI: Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sharat Singh Bhandari, expressed belief that the new constitution would be drafted on time by forging consensus among all political parties. Talking to media persons on Saturday, Bhandari said the Maoist agitation would not affect the drafting of the new constitution. — RSS
