Tarai oufit’s talks team

SIRAHA: Responding to government invitation for talks, Sanyukta Tarai Mukti Morcha (STMM) on Friday formed a three-member talks team with spokesperson Kautilya Sharma as coordinator. Other members of the team are central member Sagar and Rajguru. Talking over telephone, Sharma confirmed the formation of the talk team and demanded that the talks be held in Janakpur. — HNS

Ghost fest

LAHAN: Bhootmela, the ghost festival, is being celebrated with gusto in Siraha district on Friday. The festival is celebrated every year on the full moon day of Kartik on lunar calendar. Man stabbed to death

GORKHA: One person was killed and another injured when a rival group attacked them with knives during the Purnima Fair in Aamppipal Bazaar of Gorkha on Thursday night. The deceased has been identified as Binod Balchaudi (16) of Kyureni in Aamppipal VDC. — RSS
