44 cops sacked

POKHARA: Western Regional Police Office Pokhara has sacked 44 police personnel, on the charge of their involvement in a number of malpractices. Organising a press conference, DIGP Nawaraj Dhakal said 14 policemen were suspended, promotion of 10 policemen was halted while four cops were demoted.
