Death in Malaysia

BIRATNAGAR: One Tek Bahadur BK, 25 of Pathari (Morang) who had gone to Malaysia for employment has died there. “BK died mysteriously while he was sleeping in his bed on Wednesday,” a Nepali working with BK said over phone on Saturday. Attempts are on to bring the dead to Nepal, BK’s family source said. — HNS

Tarai panel’s visit

BIRATNAGAR: The Tarai Incident Probe Commission (TIPC) has wrapped up its field visit. The council of ministers had, on May 25, decided to form the TIPC to probe into the loss of lives and property during the agitation in the Tarai region. The office of the TIPC was established on June 6. It started functioning from June 16. — HNS
