IMADOL: Speaker of the Legislature Parliament Subas Nembang said all people should work together to realise the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections in November. He said this while addressing a programme organised on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the Mahendra Adarsh Secondary School here on Saturday. The Parliament has been preparing the acts and amending the Interim Constitution to conduct the CA elections in a conducive environment, Nembang said. JTMM-G’s warning

ITAHARI: The JTMM-G has warned that it will take physical action against anyone found to be collecting donation in its name. The outfit issued the warning at a press meet held here on Saturday. The Sunsari district in-charge of the outfit, Nitish, asked people not to give donation in the name of the group till further notice. Meanwhile, Jwala Singh, the chairman of the JTMM-J, said in Saptari on Saturday that his outfit did not have any immediate plan to collect donations. Jwala further said no action will be taken except against those who are against the JTMM-J and the Tarai. — RSS

GORKHA: Inaugurating the second district convention of the CPN-Maoist affiliated ANNISU (Revolutionary) in Gorkha on Friday, ANNISU (R) president Lekhnath Neupane said the educational problems would not be solved unless the political problems are solved. Stipend for disabled

DHANKUTA: The government has decided to provide a monthly stipend to Jhamak Ghimire, a disabled litterateur. Regional Administrator of the Eastern Region, Kaladhar Deuja on Friday handed over Rs 36,000 to Ghimire in Dhankuta district and said the state would provide her Rs 4,500 per month from now onwards.
