JTMM men grab land
SIRAHA: Cadres of the Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (Jwala Singh) grabbed eight bighas of land belonging to Maya Devi of Bhadaiya village development committee-2 in Siraha on Saturday. A team led by JTMM-Jwala area No 1 co-incharge Shaitan Singh grabbed the land, the JTMM-Jwala said. JTMM-Jwala district in-charge Tufan Singh Bidrohi said they have seized as much as 350 bighas of land in the district till Saturday. — HNS
Goods seized
POKHARA: The Kaski unit of the Maoist-affiliated Young Communist League (YCL) on Sunday handed over a vehicle, some weapons and other materials they had seized on February 26 from a group involved in terrorising people to the local administration. The Young Communist League Kaski coordinator Dipak Koirala handed over the seized goods to police inspector at Pokhara traffic police office, Jagat Bandhu Pokhrel, amidst a programme at Prithvi Chowk in Pokhara. — HNS

KATHMANDU: The committee formed to probe the leak of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) 2007 Compulsory Nepali question paper in Bhaktapur district, submitted its investigation report before Minister for Education and Sports, Pradip Nepal on Sunday. The investigation committee headed by Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Kedar Poudel had Joint Controller of Examination in the Tribhuvan University, Anup Kumar Shrestha and SP Nawaraj Silwal as members. — RSS
