Snowfall hits life

Dipayal: Continuous snowfall and rain for the past three days affected normal life. Snowfall started in Darc-hula, Bajura, Accham and Bajhang much earlier this year. The flood and landslide victims, who are taking she-lter in Belelta of Khaptad, Accham, are the ones most affected. Over 250 families are being compelled to stay in temporary tents in Belelta. — HNS

Foundation set up

POKHARA: Chinese ambassador to Nepal, Sun Heping, inaugurated the Nepal-China Foundation in Pokhara on Tuesday, on the establishment of sister-city relation between Pokhara Sub Metropolitan City and Lin Zhi Prefecture of China. Heping said that the Foundation would strengthen the relations between two countries at the peoples’ level. — RSS
