Boy killed in mishap

BIRATNAGAR: A boy was killed on the spot after being hit by a tripper that was heading towards Itahari of Sunsari from Urlabari of Jhapa district on the Urlabari-Itahara-Biratnagar road section of the highway in Morang district on Thursday. Police said that 11-year-old Lakpa Sherpa of Rajghat-3 was killed after being hit by the tripper (Me 1 Ka 102) of Kalika Constructions. Irate locals torched the tripper after the accident, eyewitnesses said. — HNS
