TRISHULI: An elderly couple at Bhanukot, Likhu VDC in Nuwakot district were reportedly murdered by their neighbour over a fight.

Police in Nuwakot suspected that Ravi Tamang (24) killed his neighbours Dhana Bahadur Tamang (70) and the latter's spouse Kanchhi Tamang (65) by hitting them with stones.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Rishi Ram Kandel of the District Police Office shared that the accused was arrested on Wednesday night and further investigation into the case was underway.

The bodies would be sent to the District Hospital for postmortem, police said.
