One arrested with illegal drugs in Dhading
DHADING: Nepal Police under its programme to monitor the buying and selling of banned drugs have seized 178 grams of opium and 47 kilograms of hashish from a car in Gajuri of Dhading district, today.
A joint team from Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police and Area Police Office (APO), Gajuri confiscated the illegal drugs from the car with an Indian registration DL3C AD 7081 at Seti Khola Road in Gajuri Rural Municipality.
According to Navaraj Dhungel, Inspector at the APO of Gajuri, police have arrested the driver of the car, Kalche Bohora (46) of Jaya Prithvi Municipality-8, currently residing in Dhangadi Sub-Metropolitan City of Kailali District.
Police found the illegal drugs in the car when it was conducting a search operation.
Bohora -- along with the confiscated drugs -- has been kept at the District Police Office, Dhading for further investigation.
