A 45-year-old Covid-19 infected man, who was undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), died Wednesday night.
The deceased from Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-11 of Sunsari district, who was receiving treatment at the Covid Hospital of the Institute, passed away at 11:57 pm yesterday, informed BPKIHS.
He was a chronic patient of hypertension, the hospital added. He was admitted to the Covid facility on April 20 after he tested positive for the contagion.
Preparation for the last rites of the deceased is underway as per health guidelines, informed the hospital.
