CHITWAN: A 40 year old bus driver lost his life while 33 people sustained injuries in a road accident at Khahare Khola along the Narayangadh Muglin road section, today.

Bus driver Kaji Ram Yogi of Aaru Pokhari, Gorkha was killed after the bus (Na 4 Kha 7513) en route to Gorkha from Narayangadh collided head on with a truck (Lu 1 Kha 7406) coming from opposite direction, District Police Office, Chitwan informed.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shiva Sharma Acharya, 27 of the injured are ongoing treatment at College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital and six have been taken to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment. Out the injured, one person has sutained critical injuries.

Vehicular movement, halted along the highway following the incident, has now resumed.
