BHOJPUR: Police have arrested a person in possession of 1.5 kilograms Pangolin scale from Makalu Rural Municipality-5 of Sankhuwasabha district on Friday.

According to State Police Office of Province 1, Jippa Tenzing Bhote (38) of Bhotekhola Rural Municipality-2 carrying scales of the endangered species in his bag-pack was taken into custody by a police team deployed from unit police office in the region.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
