POKHARA: A person died and 10 others sustained injuries after a passenger bus met an accident along the Prithivi highway in Lekhnath Municipality -32, Pokhara on Wednesday morning.

The bus, bearing registration number (Na 5 Kha 341) en route from Pokhara to Narayangadh, fell 10 metres below the road killing Assistant Driver Sujan Gurung (40) and injuring 10 persons aboard at 8:00 am today, according to the District Police Office, Kaski.

The bus fell of the road after its brakes failed. The injured have been taken to different hospitals and four are said to be in critical condition.
