Ram Kumari Sarki (35) of Masyam-4, Palpa, died on the spot after a vehicle hit her on Siddhartha Highway this morning, district traffic office Palpa stated. She was collecting forage when the vehicle knocked her down. Her body has been sent to Palpa district hospital for post mortem. Traffic on the highway resumed this morning. The highway was blocked due to a rain-triggerred landslide on Butwal-palpa section last night. Traffic resumed on the highway after the landslide was cleared at around 10:00 am today.
