RAJBIRAJ: A man died and another sustained critical injuries in a van-motorbike collision at Khojpur in Saptari district along the East-West Highway on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as biker Tilchan Gangai (28) of Amardaha-9.

Gangai breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.

Police said that van driver Indra Bahadur Katwal (45) of Balkhu, Kathmandu, was injured in the incident.

He has been sent to a hospital in the Capital for treatment.

The van (Ba 6 7 2046) hit the motorbike (24 Pa 6267) yesterday.
