RAUTAHAT: A person died and two others sustained injuries when a jeep met an accident in Yamuna Mai Rural Municipality in Rautahat on Monday.

The jeep bearing Indian registration BR 30E 0375 lost control due to flat tyre killing the Driver Santosh Pal (35) of Gadhi Mai Municipality-7.

The Scorpio jeep carrying seven passengers was en route to Gaur from Madhav Narayan Municipality.

According to police, 45-year-old Ram Babu Raut and 43-year-old Laxman Pal sustained serious injuries in the incident. The injured are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur and Garuda based hospitals.
