Rautahat, August 28:

RAUTAHAT: An unidentified group of men shot at Devi Lal Mahato, a local of Garudawairiya-9, in Rautahat on Monday night, leaving him critically injured. Four persons shot Mahato near Shivanagar in the Gaur-Chandranigahpur road section and fled, eyewitnesses said.

Mahato, who sustained a bullet wound in his chest, was referred to the capital for treatment, the Rautahat District Police Office said. “A manhunt for those involved in the incident is on,” SP Yogeshwor Romkhami said.
