Over 12,000 aspiring migrants provided counselling services

Information and Counselling Center Kaski under the Safe Migration for Foreign Employment Project provided counselling service to over 12,000 people last fiscal.
Over 12,000 people received counselling from the Information and Counseling Center established at Kaski DAO by the project last fiscal. Two counsellors were assigned to provide guidance counselling to those seeking jobs outside of Nepal.
It has been reported that of the 18,430 people who attained their passports from the DAO, that 12, 294 had sought counselling sessions . The Safe Migration for Foreign Employment has been put into practice in 18 districts including Kaski.
The project’s coordinator Maya Gurung said that as many as 22 people were recommended for free skill enhancement training last fiscal.
