SUNSARI: Over half a dozen villages in Sunsari have been flooded. Incessant rains have led to swelling of local rivers that have advanced and submerged riverside settlements, displacing scores of families.

At least 120 houses have been deluged at Harinagar Rural Municipality-2, 4 and 7, said local resident Abdul Kaiyum Khan. A Dalit settlement has been flooded at Bhokraha Rural Municipality-7.
