BIRGUNJ: A fire broke out in a paint industry at Birgunj Metropolis-11 on Tuesday evening, police said.

The fire spread further after coming in contact with chemicals in the industry, this evening. However, cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained, according to the District Police Office, Parsa.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the DPO, Rewati Dhakal said, "Security agencies, locals and fire engines have been deployed to contain the fire."

Meanwhile, locals were terrified after the sudden outbreak of fire in the area.
