Kathmandu, April 30:

Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has, in a message to Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, congratulated the latter on the assumption of the office of Nepal’s PM.

Koirala’s election as the new PM is a manifestation of trust and confidence of all Nepalis towards his ability to lead the nation to lasting peace and stability, Aziz said.

In the message, Aziz has expressed confidence that Koirala’s outstanding qualities as a statesman would guide Nepal on the course of economic and social development.

Stating that bilateral relations between the two countries have considerably grown over the years, the Pakistani PM has also expressed his confidence that the ties between the two countries would further strengthen during Koirala’s reign as PM.

Aziz has also expressed Pakistan’s willingness to work with Prime Minister Koirala for continued progress and prosperity of the Nepali people.
