RAJBIRAJ, FEBRUARY 15

Nepali Congress Vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi today accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of displaying totalitarian character by dissolving the House of Representatives.

Addressing a protest rally organised by Nepali Congress Saptari at the district headquarters Rajbiraj, Nidhi charged that Oli had dissolved the Parliament to impose authoritarianism in the country.

Nidhi said that the country had no alternative to the Nepali Congress.

"Without Madhes, the country's development and prosperity remains incomplete.

Without the NC, welfare and development of the whole country is impossible," Nidhi added.

Nidhi slammed Prime Minister Oli and accused him of being anti-federalist and anti-republicanism. He blamed Oli for the sorry state of affairs in the country. He said that the victory of communists in the elections had plunged the country and people into deep crisis. "Incompetence of the prime minister has increased the risk of political disaster in the country", he warned.
