Parliamentary committee submits study report

KATHMANDU: The Development Committee of the Legislature-Parliament has submitted its study report  to Speaker Onsari Gharti today,  on the viability of Pokhara-Beni-Jomsom roadway linking to Korala border point.

Receiving the report, Speaker Gharti hoped that the report would be helpful to take proper decision on related development activity considering the country and people’s views.

The government has already decided to open seven border points with China.

Earlier, the Development Committee had conducted a monitoring of the Galchhi-Rasuwagadhi-Kyirong route and submitted the report.

Committee Chairman Rabindra Adhikari informed that if the works were initiated immediately, the roadway from Pokhara-Beni-Jomsom to Korala border point could be completed in three months.
