Parties committed to end conflict: Bamdev

CPN-UML standing committee member Bamdev Gautam said today that the eight political parties have voiced their commitment to stop killings, violence and conflict in the country.

Addressing a rally organised by the Tanahun chapter of CPN-UML in Damauli, Gautam said: “The eight parties have agreed to stop incidents of murder, violence and conflict to form a new Nepal.”

“The parties have also made an agreement to implement scientific land reforms system and bring about economic and social change,” he said.

“The constituent assembly (CA) poll will be held by mid-June and the very first meeting of the assembly will herald the end of monarchy,” he added.

CPN-UML central member Trilochan Dhakal and CPN-UML district secretary Prataplal Shrestha also spoke.
