Parties take campaigns to villages

Leaders, candidates and cadres from different political parties have taken their election publicity campaigns to villages in Dolakha for the upcoming provincial and parliamentary elections slated for November 26 in the district.

Nepali Congress candidates and supporters reached villages that are considered strongholds of the left alliance aiming to increase their influence.

NC District Secretary Santosh Rijal said that candidates were attending election publicity campaigns in the district. NC’s parliamentary candidate Rudra Khadka and provincial candidate Keshab Raj Chaulagain for constituency Kha and Barma Lama for constituency Ka addressed election assemblies organised in the district.

Likewise, candidates from the left alliance also have been busy in election publicity campaigns in the district. Leaders and candidates of the alliance on Monday inaugurated their joint office for poll publicity at Singati Bazaar on Monday. Alliance provincial candidates, Pashupati Chaulagain in constituency Kha, and Bishal Khadka in constituency Ka, along with parliamentary candidate Parbata Gurung addressed election assemblies across the district.
