KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 17
A woman died after a rock fell onto a passenger bus on the Narayangadh–Muglin road Tuesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Aishwarya Kami (46) of Ghalegaun in Lamjung, informed police.
Police said the incident occurred near Namsikhola bridge in Ichhakamana-6 when a rock struck bus Ba 2 Kha 1836 traveling from Tanahun to Narayangadh.
The injured died during treatment at Old Medical College in Bharatpur.
Police have detained the 35-year-old driver, Tej Kumar Shahi of Myagde-2, Tanahun, for investigation.
