Passengers face difficulties along Hile-Pakhribas-Leguwa road section

BHOJPUR: Passengers have been facing difficulties while travelling along the Hile-Pakhribas-Leguwa road section in Dhankuta after the rainfall.

The under construction road section became muddy after the rains, obstructing passengers of Bhojpur and Sankhuwasabha from smooth travel. The travellers are forced to walk some distance in their journey after the vehicles they are travelling on get stuck in the mud at various parts of the road section.

According to a passenger, Ram Kumar Shrestha, travelling is smooth along the 66 kilometres long Leguwa-Bhojpur road section. However, there is a high possibility of vehicles getting stuck while travelling from Hile to Pakhribas, forcing the passengers to wait hours before vehicular movements. The Leguwa-Bhojpur road section is being blacktopped.

Similarly, the road from Leguwa to Sabhakhola of Sankhuwashaba is also in a bad condition. The road, which is dusty in winter and muddy in rainy season, gets more dangerous when heavy vehicles ply along the section, forcing the people to travel risking their lives.
