Nepali Congress vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel today said Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s remarks on seizing state power were a reflection of the Maoists’ desire for dictatorship and fascism.

Paudel was inaugurating the 37th anniversary of Janajagriti Ganga High School in Pokharibhanjyang VDC-3 of Tanahun. He said the Maoists were not acting like a democratic force despite repeated commitments to democracy and peace. “The Maoists have never been serious about ending impunity. They create problems but never solve any,” he said.
