Paudel urges upcoming govt to adopt zero tolerance against corruption
POKHARA: The Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel has urged the upcoming government to adopt zero tolerance against corruption for striving country towards economic prosperity.
Speaking at a progarmme organised by the Pumdikot Development Committee Pokhara in the Lake City to felicitate newly elected state and parliament members on Tuesday, Nepali Congress leader Paudel said "It's high time that political parties should not leave any space for people to complain about development and economic prosperity due to political instability in the country."
"Nepalis do not like bad governance. It should not be practised in the country any more." Paudel added.
He also stressed on gradually minimising political corruption as well as other malaise practices in other sectors in the nation.
"Federal Socialist Democratic system in the nation would bring economic prosperity in every nook and corner of the country," NC senior leader stressed.
Paudel further said "If we can blend religious and natural tourism, we can attract millions of tourists annually; Nepal has abundant potential in tourism."
Paudel drew attention of all the stakeholders in preserving Phewa Lake, jewel of Pokhara and Province 4.
Connecting Lumbini with Muktinath via fast tract road would help to attract more religious Indian tourists and other visitors in the nation, Paudel said.
