TANAHUN: A pedestrian was killed in a road accident last night, police said.

Maya Sarki (42) of Ghirisundhar VDC-8 of the district was injured in the accident in Khairenitar, Shuklagandaki Municipality-10 of the district on Saturday evening.

Sarki was hit by a motorbike (Ga 10 Pa 1213) at the place and was critically injured. She died in course of treatment at Pokhara Fishtail Hospital.

Police have impounded the bike and arrested the bike rider for further action.
