A pharmacy operator was arrested for possessing a huge cache of illegal drugs in Belka Municipality-1 of Udayapur district on Saturday.
The arrested has been identified as Subodh Yadav (26) of Mainakdairy in Chirhut Rural Municipality-2 of Saptari district.
Udayapur police raided Ambasi-based Belka Medical Polyclinic operated by Yadav and seized 198 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride, 515 tablets of Dicyclomine Hydrochloride, 305 tablets of KOFTAB-D, 1,502 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride Ophidole, 50mg, 10 tablets of Pregout kit, four ablets of Sildenafil, 100 mg and 12 tablets of Zenegra Red 100mg and Rs 117,000 in cash, informed Superintendent of Police (SP) SP Bhim Bahadur Dahal, at Udayapur District Police Office.
This is the first time police have seized such a large cache of illegal drugs in the district, claimed police.
