BIRATNAGAR: Police on Tuesday seized a pistol, bullets, explosives and documents related to CK Raut from a local's house at Bhokraha-6, Sunsari.

Acting on a tip off, a joint team of police from the District Police Office, Sunsari and the Area Police Office, Laukahi carried out a raid at Devram Yadav's house and confiscated a pistol, two rounds of bullets and a socket bomb yesterday.

Police also confiscated five sets of books titled 'Adhuro Madhesh Yatra (An incomplete Madhesh Odyssey)’, a picture of CK Raut and a banner displaying 'Madhesh Apna Desh' (Madhesh is our country),according to the Eastern Region Police Office, Biratnagar.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
