First meeting between the duo since Deuba's appointment in March

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 2

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is currently in Glasgow for COP26 summit, will meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today.

This will be the first meeting between the leaders of the two historically and geographically tied neighboring countries after Deuba's appointment as PM in the early quarter of 2021.

Likewise, Deuba is also scheduled to meet leaders and dignitaries of other countries in the sidelines of the summit.

The Prime Minister has already addressed the summit which is seeing participation of leaders from 117 countries.

This is also Deuba's first foreign visit since his appointment as the PM.

Leading a delegation of 21 members, PM Deuba had left to attend the summit on Friday.

He is scheduled to return to Nepal on November 4.
