KATHMANDU: The Technical Committee (TC) under the Special Committee for Supervision, Integration, and Rehabilitation of Maoist combatants today handed over the proposed code of conduct and terms of reference to Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.

The TC has proposed as to how the Special Committee could bring the Maoist combatants under its control and take care of them.

According to Indra Jit Rai, a TC member, a proposed mechanism headed by an under secretary level government employee should inform the TC about all the activities of the Maoist fighters, their requirements, salary, leave, among others, everyday.

Another meeting of the Special Committee is scheduled for Thursday, Rai informed.
