PM Koirala in Biratnagar to take rest
Biratnagar, December 24:
Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala this evening arrived in his hometown Biratnagar for a private visit.
PM Koirala is scheduled to meet regional security chiefs, activists of political parties and journalists here tomorrow.
Chairman of Nepali Congress of Morang district Amrit Aryal said PM Koirala would meet security chiefs of the eastern region at 8 am tomorrow and meet the bereaved family of NC activist Kiran Aryal in the afternoon. Aryal had been killed by Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha-Jwala Singh cadres some days ago. PM Koirala is scheduled to talk to journalists in his residence at 3.00 pm. The security chiefs had reached Biratnagar airport to welcome PM Koirala. His security guards stopped journalists from asking any question to the PM, citing health reasons. PM Koirala who came here for rest, would return to Kathmandu on Wednesday morning.
