Nepal faction says they're unaware of the call

KATHMANDU, JULY 11

Ruling CPN-UML chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a meeting of the party's standing committee today at 4:00 pm.

The meeting, as usual, will be held at the Prime Minister's official residence.

UML chair Oli has summoned standing committee members for a meeting at a time when the taskforce formed to reunify the two warring factions of the party has been active to erase existing issues in a bid to strike an agreement.

Meanwhile, the leaders belonging to the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led group have expressed that they are unaware of any such call.

All eyes are currently on the taskforce members who have time and again expressed optimism publicly over recent developments and had stated yesterday that a positive news would be issued by Sunday morning. However, nothing has been heard from the unit yet, as the day graduated from morning to day.
