Kathmandu, March 6

The CPN-UML standing committee meeting today concluded that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s state visit to India was successful.

The meeting also discussed the preparations for the prime minister’s upcoming China visit, party office secretary Krishna Gopal Shrestha said.

The SC shall meet again on Monday. Secretary Shrestha further added that issues relating to performance of the government, implementation of the new constitution, party’s recent Tarai-Madhes campaign and nomination of advisory committee would be discussed in tomorrow’s meeting.

Similarly, the next meeting will fix the date for the party’s politburo and central committee meeting, it is learnt.
