'PM's trip to India will normalise bilateral ties'
MYAGDI: CPN-UML Secretary Pradip Gyawali said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's official trip to India, scheduled for next week, would normalise the bilateral ties.
At a press conference organised by the Press Chautari, Myagdi chapter, today, leader Gyawali said that the misunderstanding surfaced between the two countries would be normalised after the PM's visit. The visit would further strengthen the bilateral relations, he added.
Leader Gyawali further informed that PM Oli would make his next visit to China within a month and the government was preparing to sign on a petroleum trade contract with China during his visit.
Secretary Gyawali added that trade diversification was needed to lessen dependency with one country.
People were compelled to face difficulties due to unnecessary rigidity of Madhes-centric parties, Gyawali further added.
