PHIDIM: Khadga Sundar Lawati of Lamphabung-2, Panchthar died on Monday three days after he consumed poisonous mushroom. Lawati was undergoing treatment in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

All eight members of the Lawati family had fallen sick after they consumed the poisonous mushroom on Friday morning. Khadga is the fifth member who died after Chandra Raj, Meena, Neha and Netrakala of the Lawati family. Remaining two members are undergoing treatment at a local health institution.

Padam Bahadur Budhathoki, of Gorkhe-2, Ilam also died due to consuming poisonous mushroom on Saturday.
