The Police Welfare Fund on Sunday handed Rs 20 million to Nepal Police Hospital for treatment of families of police personnel. The facility also covers the families of ex-police.

Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri handed a cheque to hospital medical director, technical Assistant Inspector General Dr Asha Singh at a function held on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the hospital on Sunday. Inspector General of Police Thapa also inaugurated a waiting room for ex-police officers on the premises of the hospital.

Nepal Police Wives Association Chair Sirjana Thapa handed over an ultrasound and a physiotherapy machine to the hospital on behalf of the Association.
