DHANGADHI: Police have seized 94 cooking gas cylinders from Chatakpur of Dhangadhi in Kailali district on Thursday.

The gas cylinders were confiscated from the Seti Gas Depot operated by Sanjay Dhal, who was trying to sell the gas at a price higher than the market price, informed police.

He was sending the cylinders to Kathmandu for selling them at a double price, police added.

Earlier also, Dhal had faced police action for selling the gas cylinders of less weight.

According to the Chief District Officer Mohan Chapagain they have confiscated the gas cylinders along with the vehicles carrying them and police have already begun a process to take legal action.
