Polish national injured in Kaski paragliding accident

POKHARA: Just a day after a Romanian national lost his life after plunging into Phewa Lake unable to land his paraglide safely, a Polish national sustained serious injuries in a similar accident in Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-8 of Kaski district, on Monday.

Thirty-seven-year-old Janusz Karol suffered injuries after he came into contact with a live wire while making a touchdown attempt. Karol was immediately rescued and rushed to Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara for treatment.
