DOLAKHA, OCTOBER 31
With the November 20 election just round the corner, candidates have intensified their campaigns and are meeting voters. While some are organising corner meetings and mass gatherings to speak to voters, others are focused on door-to-door campaigning.
The district has one House of Representatives seat and two Provincial Assembly seats and it expects to witness the main electoral battle between the ruling coalition and CPN-UML.
The ruling coalition candidates have started their campaigning from both Provincial Assembly constituencies.
Provincial Assembly Constituency-A candidate Kundanraj Kafle started his door-to-door canvassing and meetings with voters from Jugu, Ward No 1 of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality.
"Considering the geographical condition of places, I'm planning to cover two wards canvassing for votes in a day," said Kafle, who is also a Nepali Congress central member.
The CPN-MC's Ganga Karki is fighting for the HoR seat from the ruling coalition, NC's Kafle and NC's Dolakha district President Barma Lama are fighting on behalf of the ruling coalition from Provincial Assembly Constituency-A and B respectively.
