SIRAHA: Minister for Health Giriraj Mani Pokhrel on Saturday said local level elections in Province 2 would be held on the scheduled date.

Airing his view while on his visit to flood-hit areas in Siraha today, the health minister said the main task of the current government was to implement the constitution. He further said the government was committed to holding the remaining two tiers of elections — provincial and parliamentary — in between November and December. “It is necessary to hold all elections on time to implement the constitution,” he said.
