Locals face a risky journey on the Murkurchi-Nepaltar road sector located in the western part of Udayapur district which has yet to see the light of repairs or maintenance. To add insult to injury, construction materials are lying piled up at different places along the road sector and the road has become even narrower. Because of this, it is difficult for vehicles to ply. The road, stretching up to about 25 km in length from Murkurchi bazaar, was constructed five years ago under the food programme. The concerned sector is yet to pay attention to the constriction. According to a bus driver, Man Bahadur Magar, there is great risk of accidents on this sector of the road.
