Maoist supremo Prachanda today met locals of Ghandruk village in their houses and inquired about their problems.

Prachanda was accompanied by his wife Sita in the ‘door-to-door campaign’. The duo arrived here yesterday. When locals prodded him on to speak on the present political situation, Prachanda said he will talk about the situation at a corner meeting tomorrow.

Among others, Gandak regional bureau in-charge of the CPN (Maoist) Hitraj Pandey, Kaski district in-charge of the party Kumar, district secretary Raj Kaji Gurung (Karan) and Gandak regional coordinator of the YCL Munal are accompanying Prachanda on his trip.
