Prez Bhandari, Vice Prez Pun and PM Oli congratulate Chinese leaders

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari extended felicitations to Xi Jinping on his re-election as the President of the People’s Republic of China on Saturday.

Likewise, Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun sent a separate message of congratulations to Wang Qishan on his election as the Vice-President of the People’s Republic of China.

Similarly, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli also extended felicitations to Xi Jinping on his re-election as the President of the People’s Republic of China.

In her message, President Bhandari has highlighted the excellent state of bilateral relations between Nepal and China that are characterized by friendship, cordiality, and mutual cooperation. The President has expressed confidence that the cordial relations between the two countries will continue to deepen during the Chinese President’s tenure.

In his message to his Chinese counterpart, Vice-President Pun has expressed happiness over the friendly state of Nepal-China relations. He has conveyed his confidence that the relations will continue to grow from strength to strength in the days to come.

Prime Minister Oli, in his message, has underlined the excellent state of friendly relations between Nepal and China, which have been further nurtured by the exchange of high-level visits and people-to-people contacts.

He has also expressed hope that theses relations would be further strengthened to the mutual satisfaction during the tenure of the Chinese President. The Prime Minister has reiterated Nepal’s commitment to One China policy and not allowing its territory for any activity against China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release this evening.
