President signs 'Golden Book' at ILO headquarters

GENEVA: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has signed the 'Golden Book' kept at the International Labour Organisation (ILO) headquarters.

The President is taking part in the World of Work Summit being held as part of the 106th Session of the International Labour Conference.

She signed the book placed on a big table at Room X. On the occasion, ILO Director General Guy Ryder presented the President with a gift.

Nepali Ambassador to Switzerland and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Deepak Dhital, Foreign Ministry's Secretary, Shanker Das Bairagi, President's Personal Secretary Dr Bimala Poudel Rai and Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson and Joint Secretary and Head of the Ministry's United Nations, International Organizations and International Law Division, Bharat Raj Paudyal, were also present at the function.
