Prez on Jhapa visit
JHAPA: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav advised the political parties to resolve their differences through intense discussions in the Constitution Assembly (CA). Speaking at the inauguration programme of an eye hospital in Jhapa, he said that CA is the place where every issue can be resolved.
President Dr Yadhav arrived Jhapa on Friday to inaugurate Mechi Eye Hospital.
In the programme he said that state can’t be run by force and there is no provision for enforcement and weapons.
While speaking at the programme, he also clarified that he has not violated the constitution. Referring to the Maoist allegation against him he assured that he would not do so in the future either. Instead he urged the political parties to abide by the constitution and its provisions. He spent two hours at the programme.
However, targeting the President's visit to Jhapa, United Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) organised a Jhapa bandh today.
